Original artwork, gouache, by R.H. Redvers Taylor O.B.E. 1900-1975. This work is titled Terraces in Binal Bufar (in Majorca).
Born in Brighton, he became a professional soldier and travelled widely. He signed his work RHRT.
After leaving the army he became a sculptor and painter. His sculptures were made from “found” objects.
Lefevre & Gimpel Fils gave him 6 solo shows between 1948-1958.
This work was exhibited at Kettle’s Yard in 1972.
