Rare poster for Exhibition of William Hayter’s drawings and lithographs at La Hune Gallery Saint-Germain Paris in 1956.
British born painter and engraver S.W.Hayter (1901-1988) established Atelier 17 in Paris in 1926. In the 1930s he was part of the Surrealist movement and, following his move to New York at the start of WW2, the Abstract Expressionists.
